Graphic Design 2

For this project, I designed a children’s cookbook called Healthy Food for Growing Kids with a fun space-themed concept. To create an engaging and playful design, I researched children’s space books for inspiration before sketching out my ideas. I chose an A5 portrait format and structured the booklet so that recipes appeared on the left-hand pages and images on the right. Following advice from a live session, I started with the longest recipe first and shared my design for feedback. I received constructive suggestions, such as adjusting text alignment, increasing font size, and adding more doodles to enhance the visual appeal. These changes refined the design, making it more engaging for children. The final booklet maintained a consistent theme, featuring dark pages, bold custard-colored headings, and playful illustrations, creating a visually exciting and child-friendly experience.
